    In a web exclusive titled Best Summer Cocktails, Departures Magazine showcases a delicious Royal Combier recipe calling for fresh strawberries - the perfect drink for summertime. The cocktail, developed by renowned Portland, OR bartender Mr. Tommy Klus, calls for Novo Fogo aged cachaça, Royal Combier, fresh strawberries, fresh lemon juice and cane syrup.

    Combier Liqueur d'Orange received a top rating in the 2008 International Review of Spirits Competition conducted by the Beverage Tasting Institute (BTI). BTI, one of the world's foremost authorities on alcoholic beverages, was established nearly 30 years ago as America's premier independent alcoholic beverage review organization. Combier Liqueur d'Orange earned high marks, with 90 points overall and an Exceptional rating, winning a coveted Gold medal.

    The perfect Margarita - with Combier - is featured in Food & Wine magazine.

    1. Ice
    2. ¾ ounce lime juice
    3. 1 ounce Combier Liqueur d’Orange
    4. 1½ ounces silver tequila
    5. 1 lime wheel
    6. 1 orange wheel

    Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the lime juice, Combier and tequila. Shake and strain into an ice-filled glass. Garnish with the citrus wheels and serve.
